Mini Fruit Pizza

 
A simple fun and nutritious Sugar Cookie recipe. Spread a creamy frosting using a Polvoronis (Mexican Wedding Cookie) sugar cookie dough recipe and top with fruit….so easy
 

Ingredients

 
  • 6 cups flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 cup sugar cane
  • 2 cup shortening
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
 

Directions

 
Adults: Cream margarine and shortening.
Together: Add sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and eggs. Mix Well.
Kids: Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Blend well using electric mixer and then using hands to continue to blend cookie dough.
Together: Roll into 1-1/2 to 2 inch thick logs. Cover in plastic wrap and place logs in freezer to chill.
Together: Remove dough from freezer let set for 5-10 mins.
Together: Slice dough to desired thickness. Place on cookie sheet.
Adults: Bake at 350 degrees until light brown.
Kids: While cookies are still warm sprinkle mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
Kids: When cookies are completely cooled. Spread cream-cheese frosting. Decorate with your favorite fruit.
