Remove GE crop riders from the House Farm Bill - tell congress

Just Label It, a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting GMOs listed on food labels, has made significant progress in recent weeks in moving the federal review process for GE crops into a more open and transparent process.  

However, the chemical companies have come back with a counter strategy, and inserted dangerous riders into the House version of the Farm Bill.

Tell the Chairman and Ranking member of the House Agriculture Committee to remove these GE crop riders from the House Farm Bill.

We have the right to know about our food, and we as citizens want our federal agencies to do a thorough of job of evaluating GE crops and GE foods, before they are introduced into the marketplace, into our stores and into our homes.  Rushing the approval of GE crops before full evaluations endangers our families.

Tell the Chairman and Ranking member of the House Agriculture Committee to remove these GE crop riders from the House Farm Bill.

Through the years, we have put into place safeguards at numerous federal agencies to protect the public health and the environment.  Do not let a few powerful interests, who are pushing a failed economic model of coercing farmers into buying both their seeds and their chemicals, hijack our federal regulatory process for GE crop approval and ultimately steal your right to know about your food.
